Team17 Collection 1 Preorder

Team17 and Amiga fans, get ready to be transported back in time with the upcoming release of the Evercade Team17 Collection 1! This highly anticipated compilation is set to be released on May 31st, 2023, and is now available for preorder across a number of online retailers internationally.

The Evercade Team17 Collection 1 features ten classic games from the legendary developer, Team17. These titles have been lovingly selected to showcase the diverse range of classics they released during the 1990s.

Alien Breed, one of the games included in the collection, was first released in 1991 and quickly became a fan favorite. This moody top-down shooter takes place in a sci-fi setting and is a very challenging shooter with impressive graphics for its time. Superfrog, on the other hand, is an accessible and cutesy platformer from 1993 that follows a heroic frog on a mission to save his beloved princess from an evil witch.

Worms: The Director’s Cut is another fan-favorite in the collection and a very late game in Amiga’s life. This turn-based strategy game, originally released in 1997, allows players to control a team of worms and defeat their opponents using a range of weapons and tactics.

With these and other games included in the collection, fans of the Amiga are sure to find something they love and will enjoy playing for hours on end. Personally I can’t wait for ATR: All Terrain Racing, which is one of the most underrated and best Amiga racing games.

The full games list is as follows:

  • Full Contact
  • Alien Breed Special Edition
  • Body Blows
  • Project-X Special Edition
  • Qwak
  • Alien Breen II: The Horror Continues
  • Arcade Pool
  • Alien Breed: Tower Assault
  • ATR: All-Terrain Racing
  • Kingpin: Arcade Sports Series Bowling

The Evercade handheld console, on which the Evercade Team17 Collection 1 is playable, allows players to enjoy retro games from various consoles of the past, from Atari, Commodore, and Namco arcade classics.
