There have been previous reports of friction between the release of DamonPS2 and the PCSX2 developers, due to apparent use of elements of PCSX2 licensed code. But this new Android PS2 emulator, AetherSX2, is being met with open minds and a friendly approach to ensure the project is not crossing any licensed components that the PCSX2 team own.
